Is there a Legacy Support from Vanilla 2.0 to 2.1 ?

Hi guys,

I've been running a self-hosted solution and is very happy with vanilla so far, i have used various custom made scripts written by people here and the community is happy with it. I would like to run the latest version since i need new features that came along with it, but i also need the old plugins installed. Is there some sort of code or plugin that i could just put anywhere to make the old plugins work?

Short answer - no (doesn't seem to be one). Any plugin that doesn't work in 2.1 might require a fairly simple change or a rewrite (depends on the plugin). Other things have changed in vanilla 2.1 some of the events have changed. But, most likely if there is a plugin that doesn't work - you can probably get help in the forum changing it so it does, or from the plugin developer, or getting someone to do it for a fee if all else fails.
