Need help turning on profile post notification

Hi,
I need to know how i could get user notification if someone posts in their walls ? i cant seem to find someone to have that problem here .

What about the "Notify me when people write on my wall" option in the notification preferences?

@kasperisager , yeah i've seen that but it's somehow not showing up on my installation, i wonder what i've done wrong..
Which version of Vanilla are you using?

That is most likely the reason why you're seeing the option: I think it got implemented as of 2.1

so there's no way i could fix it ? just update to 2.1 ? it's not yet being released.

thanks @kasperisager , i already have a copy on my local comp -- true it's not stable yet, maybe it'll be a Christmas gift for us here
