As 1.0 is now almost complete (or rather the 1.0 pre-release, which is pretty much spot on) is it about time to start creating themes or should I wait for the final v1.0 to be released incase there are any changes? In a way I'm looking forward to at least attempting to do a design, but then I realise my design skills are completely terrible, coupled with the fact I'd be linking the CSS to values and things that I've not coded myself (confusion++) and it could be a little disasterous, but hey, I'll give it a go anyway :D

    I'm gonna try (I think) making a black theme with pink when 1.0 is releasaed.

    I'm going to convert over (and improve) my Pure theme for 1.0, got a bit of encouragement when a certain someone from Apple emailed me recently liking my theme :)

    I think a few people are just hesitant to make a new style (a considerable undertaking) when the code structure is still volatile.

    Where is this "templating" system?

    the "templating" system is in the "themes" folder which is applied with "styles"! yeah, I agree with bergamot that it's still a little volatile at the moment, well, not so much volatile, just not geared towards those willing to get their hands REALLy dirty :) I have a few ideas I want to try out which could lessen how nasty things get in there though.

    Ok, well, if you're still running the 0.9.x series of vanilla, I've finally gotten around and have thrown dirt and sky up onto the /addons directory for those of you who've missed it. I'll hopefully be rehashing them for 1.0 if there's enough requests for it, else I might come up with something different :)

    Yeah do it lech, a lot of our forum users liked the dirt theme!

    Sounds good too ADM, Vanilla Pure was a very nice theme :)
