Simple theme edit: Removing the "write comment" button from light-grunge.

Here is what my forum currently looks like: http://d.pr/i/NQzM
It seems the "Write Comment" button is redundant. How would I go about hiding it? I looked through the custom.css but didn't notice a specific call for that button to be present.
Is it redundant? What's it's purpose?

Usually (in the default theme) you also have a button called preview, where you can see how the post would look like when you post it. To switch back from that, you need the "write comment" button. But as you seem to not have that, it is indeed redundant and vrijcvlinder's solution will hide it.
The Preview Button is hidden in the main style for some reason , possibly because it looks the same as in the cleditor so no need to display the content twice. It does appear upon editing a post. Likely because the preview appears in a pop up window.
