How to let admin know about new member?

I went through the forum here and most of the topics faded out without a direct answer.

Is there a plugin or script to let the admin know if there is a new member via email?

Thanks, but tried it & not working. Seems others having the same issue too

oh? I find it works just fine,in fact too fine I don't like getting annoying messages every time someone new is registered. it is simple really, just have to install it properly and put in the email you want to receive. Make sure you have it (smtp) set to be able to send out.

Ah, I'd say it's the SMTP that was missing as my email from Vanilla just worked from the start so I never set up smtp. Will give it a try. Though I did note my email address disappears from the setting to send it.

Probably to stop you from sending it again, some input forms clear themselves some do not. Some remember what you put in .

Okay cheers, at least I'm not the only one. I'll try setting up smtp now.
