vanilla 2.1 profile/activity notification is not working

in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

hi guys, has anyone have 2.1 running and have notification on profile and recent activity comments notification working?

i have all the settings to notify when someone posts on profile and activity but dont get notifications..

please tell me what's happening...

    I confirm that the notifications don't seem to work properly.

    I tried to follow Vanilla's flow, but I couldn't get to the point where the notifications are actually sent. I also looked for calls to the SendNotification() method, but I couldn't find any. I'm not very familiar on Vanilla 2.1 (I made the tests on 2.1b), but I will keep checking to see if I can find something useful.
