SSO: Removing/disabling vanilla user registration and migrating user data?

I was able to get Single Sign On working for Wordpress. Hooray! I'd like to remove the option of creating a new vanilla user account, to force people to use their wordpress account. What's the best way to accomplish this? Do I disable it in the dashboard somewhere? Or just use CSS to hide the buttons?
Whatever is the most appropriate solution, please help me work towards that. I'm not a CSS wizard, so what might I need to do hide the "Sign In" and "Apply for Membership" buttons?

easiest just to hide it. use google chrome's inspect element to get the entity information for what you want to hide.
also, this question has been asked before, try doing some searches to find the previous answer.

If I understood correctly what you want to do, you can go to /dashboard/settings/registration and select Connect as the method of registration. This way, Users won't be able to register on Vanilla, and will have to log in using SSO.
