Default avatar for banned members?

Morning!

So.. I'd like to add a default avatar specifically for banned members, but I have no idea how to make it happen. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I'm not aware of the existence of such a plugin, I think it would have to be developed.

I think the best way would be implementing a plugin that does it by replacing the User's avatar on the fly. I would not replaced it permanently, in case the User gets "unbanned" at a later time (it may happen, bans don't have to be permanent).

Does such a plugin exist? Or something similar? I don't have sufficient knowledge (or skill) to code one myself.
