Help, I get lots of Warnings and a Fatal Error!

I am a complete newbie to all things php, sql etc so I have no clue what I'm doing, I followed the instructions on the on-line documentation and got up to the end of Step 1 out of 3 at the point where it says: "Once you have your file permissions set up properly, open up your web browser of choice and point yourself to the location on your server where you uploaded Vanilla to and start up the installer.php setup file.". This in my case is here: http://oligue.freehostia.com/forum/ - I am sure all those warnings are wrong and especially that fatal error. Anyway I am using as you can see a free host which as far as I can make out provides: PHPMyAdmin, 10 MB MySQL DB space, 1 MySQL database and it's running on a Debian server. I thought these were enough to run Vanilla on in my minimal knowledge of the matter. Please if you know what I have left out or what I've done wrong tell me asap. Thanks

    Ok, i must have doing something right because it just got fixed :) Well anyway, that was a relief, vanilla is brilliant. Even an ignorant newbie like me managed to install it!
