File and folder permissions

Just moved my sevrer and wanting to know if there is a list of files and folders with attached read/write permissions.
Obviously some things on the site are not working and I think its related to the permissions, cant swap themes as it will not change them over.
So looking for a full list of permissions, if somebody can point me in the right direction.
