Vanilla creating multiple duplicated entries in user activity list

Hi,

i am a new user of Vanilla (2.0.18.4), having recently migrated an existing forum from phpBB3 (using export/import scripts), and am having some difficulties.

One of these difficulties (which is admittedly benign) is that when a user lists their own activities (by selecting their username from the menu, then "Activity"), some of the activity entries are duplicated many times. For example, when i list my own activities, one activity is listed 32 times, and another 14 times. Other activities are listed only once, as expected.

I tried googling the web for a solution to this problem, but have not found anything useful.

Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how to stop it?
