FancyBox picks up Badges in TopPosters list

The badges on my TopPosters list are "fancyboxed", so to speak, and I've attached to photos of how enabling FancyBox causes them to change. How can I change this so that they are not picked up by FancyBox?

specify different attributes - one for fancybox and one not for fancybox.
