Why isn't Voting Views not updatig?

in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

Can someone explain why the views on the voting addon isn't updating? It was updating in the beginning for the first two hours but its been a day and the views haven't gone up eventhough I've visited the discussion thread dozens of times.

    there are other solutions besides @422's correct answer.

    try searching for

    view count

    and you will see other solutions.

    the search box comes in handy when you are looking for answers to questions :).
