You can embed your forum on a Facebook page. That way people can even use the forum . Only thing is Facebook also has an ssl option to use secure Facebook and some content may be affected if it is no originating from an SSL capable site. The content can be seen etc. But you will get a notice saying your content is unsafe. I just ignore it because I know my content is safe.
