RSS??

edited June 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hello, I see that on this site an RSS feed exists; however, I did not find it built into the core or within the add-ons repository. Am I overlooking something? or does it simply not exist yet?

  • ....aah... found an atom feed extension... that will work.
  • The rss one should be there too. I'm sure mark will add it in time. I assume he still looks after it.
  • My Atom feed is broken or something, anyone else have that problem? Safari can’t open the page “feed://coolosxapps.net/forum/?Feed=Atomâ€?. The error was: “unknown errorâ€? (NSURLErrorDomain:-1) Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.
  • Hmmm, I'm guessing one of the possible things is happening here, Jens. Either A) Vanilla is reporting an extension as active when it's not B) you clicked on a URI which safari doesn't understand or recognize as valid. Else C) None of the above because I'm a little tired and can't think of other possible alternative possibilities. if you replace feed:// with http:// can you access it? that could help verify at least partially what's going on.

If this is your site, double check all your extensions and report which version you or the site is running. This could be another 1.0.x extension running under a 0.9.x base, which would be a good candidate to replace option C).
