How to change "discussions" to "topic"/"topics"?

So Yeah, I'm creating a page for my guild to use for recruitment, forum, streaming etc.

I'm building it from a buttload of plugins etc on a wordpress site.
I've got the Vanilla forum implemented on the site with the "Vanilla Forums" plugin and the "WP Vanilla Connect" plugin as connectors.

It has nothing to do with the site etc though.

I want to change the name of the topics/discussions to "Topic"/"Topics" instead.
I do know some html,some php. Tho, I've been scratching my head for the last hours.

examples.

I'd want to be "Create New Topic"

I'd want to be "topics"

Would be really cool if someone could help me out!
and oh, vanguard-eu.com/ is the page if someone is curious.

Look at http://vanillawiki.homebrewforums.net/index.php/Locales you can get the definitions to add to the file mentioned on that page from /applications/vanilla/locales/en-CA/defintions.php
