DatabaseTables and DatabaseColumns

edited June 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
I like using the DatabaseTables and DatabaseColumns arrays, but I've come accross a problem. If you check the classes of objects like Category, Comment and Discussion you can see that there is still hard coded references to the fieldnames... I know why Mark hasn't changed this, because it's not that easy... The $DatabaseTables and $DatabaseColumns are stored in the $Context object... but that's not available in those classes. But if these fieldnames stay hard coded, the DatabaseTables and DatabaseColumns arrays have no use...

Where are the references intact (exactly)?

I thought I searched the entire application and removed all old references.

    Oh snap. I see now...

Hmm. I'll have to think about this one...

Well, I guess I should make all of those classes implement delegation anyway. I'll fix that up tomorrow.

You know, I had nightmares all night about this. I'm absolutely dumbfounded that I overlooked this.

EDIT: This comment didn't make anything sense, as I didn't look at the Swell blog before writing this :P
