Block User Changes

I saw an old thread re. the location of user view but not of this ...

I'd like a User-type for children where all of their settings are made by a moderator & all of their posts are moderated.

Do I need to create a new User-type or is there a way to do this within Member without affecting the adults as well?

Guest is too limited.

Vanilla Version 2.0.18.8

    create a new role and moderate. moderation features are better in 2.1
