Is there a solution to automatically complete the user ID while you mention someone on vanilla?

Now it's kind of tricky. Some users have wired symbols in their id, it's hard to type it out.
My expectation would be just like Facebook, offering a list based what you have already typed.

I'm not that good at web technology, is there an add-on out there? I tried every possible key word, still failed to find one.

personally I just cut and paste user name, instead of typing it.
