Spam help!

This is very important to me!

I have my registration on vanilla 2 set to-- New users are reviewed and approved by an administrator and they have to confirm their email address is checked as well!

...Lately I have been getting a lot of spam and I delete them, but even with my setting I listed above, then can still leave comments on my forum! How can I stop them from making comments, I haven't even accepted them yet, they just confirmed their email and then they make the spam comments!

Anyone know how to fix this? :-)

**Also is would be nice if there was a way that no comments could pass by unless I (admin), accepted them, can this be done on vanilla 2 ?

• You need change the permissions for the "Applicant" role
• In Vanilla 2.1, there is a permission "Vanilla.Approval.Require" that stores user's posts in the "Moderation Queue" so you can approve them manually

Not a complete solution but stopped spammers for me.
