Text highlight spoiler?

Hi VF! I was wondering, how difficult would it be to make a text highlight spoiler that functions like it does here? I know there's a spoiler plugin already, but my previous forum had a similar text/highlight feature in the past and my users want it back.

Would it be possible to edit the current spoiler plugin somehow?

    Yep, that's the one I currently use! It's good for images, but I'd like an alternative for text only.

    If you look in the source for the plugin, maybe you'll find a way to edit it and make it work for texts also, or texts only, if you like.
