how to move vanilla one level up or down in a domain. what are the minimal steps to do so. mydomain.com\vanilla mydomain.com\coolforum\vanilla

    Just go into application settings and change the path to vanilla setting (and move the vanilla folder up or down a level of course). I'm pretty sure that should do the trick?

    Along with physically moving all the files, but that's hopefully obvious.

    weird. changed catalogue name 'superforum.com\green' - >'superforum.com\red' without login seems fine, as logged in... no css. black & white & plain. changed directly in settings.php file bug? or I guess it is not that easy to change the folder.

    Were you using an absolute path to the styles directory?

    You need to change the style in the database as well since all of the css has moved to a new location. If you have 1.0, go into the themes and styles form on the settings tab and select the vanilla theme and default style. Then check the "apply to all users" and save. Everything should be fine after that.
