Did it show up in your member's spam folder? If not, then does qq.com provide SMTP connection info? If so, check the "use an SMTP server to send email" box, fill in the SMTP connection info, and see if new emails are being sent out from your forum.

  • Did it show up in your member's spam folder?<<<wat does it mean = = i don understand........

Here is the Chinese Wikipedia page explaining what email spam is: http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/垃圾邮件

Sometimes legitimate emails sent from a website will end up in the recipient's spam folder instead of the inbox folder. Your member would have to look for a spam folder to see if the email sent from your website ended up there instead of the inbox folder.

how do i set the SMTP? i donno how 2 set it.....

I did a quick search online for the SMTP info for qq.com and these settings should work:

    SMTP Host: smtp.qq.com

SMTP User: Your qq.com Email Address

SMTP Password: Your qq.com Email Password

    SMTP Port: 465

    SMTP Security: SSL

  • shud i install any email system(like Citadel) before i doing this? im installed Citadel and setted it but failed to restart.

No need to. SMTP sends email using the SMTP host.

You can probably remove Citadel with apt-get remove citadel*.
