Can anyone point me to a Vanilla download

I've just come across Vanilla and it looks good. I have some time on my hands and was wanting to do some prototyping with it. But of course Mark's in the middle of a big move and GetVanilla is not operational. Is anyone able to send me/pointme to a download? Thanks and cheers slim

You can get the pre-release of Version 1 here: http://lussumo.com/download.php?Get=Vanilla.1.pre-release But I'd recommend you hang tight for a couple of days. I was hoping to get a newer zip out today but ran into some headaches with the server. I imagine I'll have it out tomorrow assuming all goes well...

Thanks Mark - you're a legend! I have other stuff to do today and a gig tonight, so I'll check back in 24-36 hours. Will the update be at GetVanilla? I'm looking at Vanilla as a a suitable platform to set a forum for music/performance people/venues/events etc in my local region. If I understand correctly, Vanilla is very flexible format wise, using css styling. I don't know if it's possible, but a concept I have is use forum software to handle all the data and communications, but style the presentation more along the lines of a magazine rather than the usual linear list. I'd like to have a set number of major categories and lay them out 2 or 3 columns with the first 50-100 words of each post displayed, like on an online news site. How I make that happen I really don't know yet. I'm a determined hacker rather than a programmer. I've had fun setting up a couple of pmwiki sites and playing with the presentation to make it look more appealing and readable. I look forward to playing with Vanilla - I'll probably hang it off my band website when I finish the pmwiki makeover and transfer hosts over the next week :-) Cheers
