the people making announcements on this forum are staff.
Click on an approved plugin and click on authors's profile - it will list whether they are staff or admin in profile.
And if the plugin says approved, 99% of the time is a staff member.
If it is isn't approved, 99% of the time it is not a staff member.
if it says staff or admin in their profile.
After you post the results of what you came up with, I'm sure people could proof it, and add to it if necessary and desired.
I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
