So where do you guys tend to go for SEO information?

    Yeah, I think it is that common. haha. My guess is that Vanilla is a SEO machine.....Just looking to see what the SEO world is up to these days....

    For what it's worth, I use the Firefox extension, so I can check any site that I happen to be on. Interesting how the big sites (Google.com for example) aren't always standards compliant. And speaking of Google.com, it's page rank is 8. I would have expected 10.

    Well they don't really need to optimize their site for search engines do they. Everyone knows Google.

    SEO is a part of my job description, and an even bigger part of a fellow co-worker. Its a strange world with lots of speculation, boasting, fraud and bickering, and can be cutthroat. Search engine spam is often defined as Search Pages Above Mine. Off the top of my head: Forums with active SEO topics: http://webproworld.com - pictures and openness required http://webmasterworld.com - very private and paranoid http://forums.digitalpoint.com - all around good Blogs: http://threadwatch.org - aggregator http://oilman.ca - some good stuff http://seoblackhat.com - black hat techniques http://mattcutts.com/blog - Google engineer (NOTE: without the www) (sorry, inside joke) http://stuntdubl.com - white hat consultant, very thoughtfull posts on SEO and the industry http://davidnaylor.co.uk - very vague, but probably the top SEO in the world. http://searchenginewatch.com - Long winded blog and forum.

    thanks, wallphone..... great description.... it definitely is a strange world with a lot of funky personality. either way, i like to be somewhat in tune with the trend of the day.... appreciate it....
