I want to install Vanilla, I should wait version 2.1?

Currently on our community we are working with FluxBB and we are looking a more sophisticated forum to implement, and Vanilla is what we are looking for. So my question is if you recommend me to wait version 2.1 or just install the current version?

There is no reason to wait for 2.1. If you really want to make the switch, set up a test server, install Vanilla 2.0.x, play with it, see if it is what you need, then make a decision. You'll be able to upgrade to 2.1 when the time comes (hopefully earlier than December 2014

You have been waiting a long for 2.1?
Let's see: 2.1 beta 1 was released on April 4, 2013. Beta 2: September 14, 2013. They said there will probably be a "beta 3". Then, after the beta testing phase, there will be a couple of "release candidate" versions. So I guess we will probably have to wait at least 6 months until the final 2.1 release.
