Rank system in duscussions.

Hi!

I see that inside the discusion threads vanilla staff have their own rank and css style. I would like to know if there is a plugin or a hack that can make such css ranking system for a certain member or a group? There is also some reference here http://blog.vanillaforums.com/news/using-vanilla-ranks/ , but I cannot find anything like it for Vanilla 2.0.18.10.
