Letting users register and post...

Hi, Is there any way for users to just register and start posting? Maybe with e-mail confirmation? I just don't see the point of 'screening' every user.

Email confirmation sounds good, I mean I think its quite a good point. But then it might stop spammers if they have to write about why they want to join etc! I dunno, just my thoughts to!

krush > Yes there is. You just have to change the registration settings, as seen in the documentation. But there is no email confirmation (I guess it can be done with an extension).
