Unloved Plugins?

Could be interesting, maybe not.

Plugins that are infrequently downloaded and infrequently discussed. that actually might be handy or useful but overlooked.

I'll start it with one of mine that I think is pretty handy.

http://vanillaforums.org/addon/addtexttobox-plugin

surely some others will have some other ideas and suggestions.

two more

http://vanillaforums.org/addon/pluginnavigator-plugin

http://vanillaforums.org/addon/utilitylinks-plugin

and this looks interesting - haven't tried it yet.

I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.

Thanks @peregrine‌ for adding utility links. The one on Github actually adds default roles, but I was worried in the wrong hands it might cause more trouble than we all need.

I try to add the interesting ones in the monthly newsletter, so I will reference this thread, if there are any other great suggestions....

Another thought too, which is what I originally thought this thread would be about, is abandoned or dead plugins that might need another look -- either a complete rewrite or a new version offered by another author. Could make for some interesting "projects" for the eager :p

that could be another discussion :) topic. "What plugins don't work in 2.1b2 that you would like to see updated." But I'll leave that for someone else to start >:)

btw - you might consider posting links to the monthly newsletter archives for those who haven't yet subscribed or don't subscribe.
