Dashboard missing links?

i seem to be missing a few features and links like:
Theme Option, or any edit custom theme options

is this normal? o.o sorry if this is a stupid question, new to Vanilla.

    yes that is it. All you can do from there is apply a theme.

    To edit the theme itself you need to go into the files. The custom.css file is the one for the style. And the default.master.php is the one for the layout and content.

    To add things to your theme you would use plugins which there are for many things.

    You would use a web inspector to help you edit the style of the theme.

    There are no theme editing console in the dashboard as with WP themes. :(

    hi , No custom edit theme functions besides those that come with custom themes. You need to upload custom themes to your themes folder and enable one in the dashboard where it says themes.

    Options will depend on the theme and or plugins

    So i uploaded 2 skins, but and applied it, and I couldn't find the edit theme function.
    Sorry I'm just really confused atm.
