Suggestion for Newsmailer extension

Just installed Newsmailer and I think this is a great extension. I've been looking for a way to automate occasional contact with our registered users so this will be a huge time saver.

One request if there are ever revisions in the works--the ability to target emails to one or more Roles (Members, Moderators, etc.) would be fantastic.

    You can Download the latetst version (0.2) and you can select the roles the message is sent to. It's also able to select more roles.

    is it possible to give a user group permission to send mail out ? like a moderator even though vanilla does not have that role but something like it, basically the ability to give another permission to use the newsmailer
