ShortStat 1.3

edited November 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Ofcourse there are many visitortracking apps out there, but Shawn Inman's ShortStat is simple and clean. And most important: it's free!!! This extension will track visitors on your forum.

Download: ShortStat 1.3

You will have to enable the tab in your roles & permissions:

  • I can't wait to see this extension in use. Looks very promising for Vanilla forum admins.
  • I saw something about ShortStat in the Recent Upload extensions and I got all excited. I thought it was released. :-(
  • Ok, I've just released it :) It should work straight out of the box
  • I uploaded and enabled, nothing happens :-/

Hah! You think nothing happens, but it does!! :P You have to enable the shortstat tab in your roles & permission (settings). Else you won't see anything :)

  • I did that too. Turns out I had to resync tabs with the PageManager extension. Awesome extension, thanks!
  • Ah ok :) yw
  • for some reason mine doesn't display right. i'm using camino in os 10.4.7.
  • Yeah mine's not displaying correctly in Firefox 1.5.x or Opera 9 on OS X. I'm going CSS digging.

I'm getting an 404 error. This is what it says when I click on the ShortStat tab:

The requested URL /extension/ShortStat was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

BTW, I uploaded it straight out of the box as any other extension.
  • anyone found a fix for firefox?
  • Ugh, now I went to make sure I had the latest version of SirNot's Page Manager extension (v 2.3), uploaded that to my server, enabled that along with the ShortStat add-on and poof! absolutely nothing now. I don't even see the tab for ShortStat like I did before.

What in the world is happening?
