Some issues with exporting from SMF 2.x

in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

I just installed 2.1 and ran the exporter for SMF 2.x. Here are some issues I've noticed so far and I'm hoping someone can help.

  1. some avatars show, but others don't. In Vanilla they show a broken image
  2. A message from SMF had an embedded image that shows up, but in Vanilla it shows up as an [img] tag rather than displaying the image
  3. Is there a way to customize the avatar size when being displayed within the discussion vs. displayed elsewhere?

I just started experimenting with vanilla for the first time so I'm sure I'll have other questions.

    I think some of these have been answered or worked through.

    do you try searching for avatars or broken images or porting or smf or
    formatting

    there is a config for thumbnails, you could probably find it searching for thumbnail or profilephoto

    I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
