Blank Page after github download install

I downloaded the lastest version from github but once I upload the file, my site becomes a blank white page. Delete the files and all is fine again. Is this a known issue? Maybe a conflict with another addon I have? These are what I have active:

Bootstrap theme 2.2.2
All Viewed
Analytics
Button Bar
Emotify
Profile Extender
SEO
Signatures
Sprites
Thankful People 2
Vanilla Stats

I was trying to add various blog items to the sidebar because when I embed in my wordpress site and use that sidebar, it condenses the forums too much. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

generally you use the standard troubleshooting methods when you get a blank page or a bonk.

Unfortunately people only come to the forum when they have problems but not many people have taken the initiative to add plugins that they have actually verified that they work.

hundreds of people are using vanilla 2.1 and few people are helping out with mentioning which plugins actually do work.

Pockets version 1.0.1b works in 2.1 just fine.

I removed the version requirement is all I did I believe...

pocket Version 1.1.2 works fine in vanilla 2.1 as well.
