  • yea I like the sound of "make it an extension"
  • I'm gonna have a bash at this today but dont expect miracles!
  • Good news, everyone! I have made major progress in creating this extension. Pretty much the only thing remaining is to get Mark to add the required delegates.
  • Awesome, glad to hear!
  • great lets all go hang out at Marks place and do some begging
  • awesome work
  • Ahh, exactly what I need also. Any furthe rupdates on when it's expected to be out? :) Best regards, JD Smith
  • Great! I'll be checking this thread for the extension :)
  • is the extension already released ? can't found it anywhere :(
  • Mmmm...can't wait...
  • this will be one of the best extensions yet...
  • Any more progress yet a_magical_me? :) Best regards, JD Smith
  • holds a readonly categories candle vigilance ;-)
  • bump? I need this as well :s just decided to put an Announcements category and parse the resulting feed into a mainsite. Don't want random users posting news in my main site! :O
  • I was thinking about this... I'm not really comfortable with hardcoding the permission to a role. So how about adding a column to LUM_CategoryRoleblock ? this table currently has: CategoryID, RoleID, Blocked. adding a writeable column {1,0} would allow one to pick which roles can post in which categories, while a blocked category is still a full ban on that category for a given role. Seems like a clean solution :D (no clue if delegates would still be needed... havent dwelved much into Vanilla's code yet)
  • **BUMP**

Any news about this potential extension?
  • I'd like to attempt it but I'm juggling way too many projects. Maybe in january.
  • January is way better than never, that would be great :)

/bump I would be very intrested in this as an extention as I think many others would be too if this thread is any indication. Has anyone picked this up?
