Automatic Application Approval

Is there a way to automatically approve an applicant with it requiring administration review and approval? I think this would be highly effective for my community that I'm developing. If not, does anyone know how to develop an add-on for this kind of request? Or guide me in the right direction so I can get started.

    Thank you. I've changed the settings. That will make things alot easier. I knew there had to be a way.
