How to attach image to discussion?

HI all,

I searched for an answer on this one and I can't find a clear, final one.

Is there a way to attach file/image (from local computer, not through http...) to a message?
I tried to Enable the FileUpload plugin, but didn't change anything...We would really need this in our forum, so I'm asking.

Thanks for any clarification. Would be greatly apppreciated.

    FileUpload is the program used to attach images to discussions and comments from local computer.

    and it works if you match the proper version of plugin with the version of vanilla, as discussed in a variety of discussions here: http://vanillaforums.org/addon/fileupload-plugin

    The two announcements also have valuable information. The top two discussions that say announcments on the main discussion page.

    I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
