Difference between Embedding vanilla code and using iframe

Here is one of the differences between Embedding vanilla code using vanilla embed code and using iframe:
Using vanilla embed code:

will let you see the full URL of the forum in the address bar

will hide the URL of everything from the address bar

This is beside that you will not be able to see the progress bar once visiting the forum embedded page in iframe case.
