i have only default recaptcha activated for new registrations ONLY, can you suggest some of the best anti spam and bot security plugin?

Take a look at all the plugins that peregrine made. If you want the best anti-spam and anti-bot plugins, those are your best bet

the bigger question is where are you having issues and more importantly what version of vanilla are you using.

the best plugins are the one that work for you. It doesn't matter if it works for anyone else.

try different ones to solve specific issues.

everyone has things that work for them that may not work for you and vice-versa.

version 2.1 and it's mainly in signup form.

i have added the question plugin by you in my signup form, hopefully it will stop some of it.

is there any option to add more than one question, like random questions every time instead of just one question?

I took out the random number question, it was just harder for normal users and not terribly difficult for bots using brute force. just pick a decent question to ask.

you can also block some troublesome spammers with registration restrict logger .
