PS - breaking settings.php sends you to the setup page - I hope you've moved/deleted it so nobody can reset your database.

Any chance I could get "announcement bar in the sidebar." My moderators are itching for more area to add text and above the discussion just doesn't work.

Another issue:

in IE7, the page layout is broken when this extension is present in the extension folder (even if it is disabled I believe). the content area shifts below the last line of the left panel's content.
