I cant seem to find any option in the dashboard for enabling COPPA support. can someone help me in figuring out how to enable COPPA in vanilla Forums?
It is up to you to abide by your laws and provide a privacy policy.
It is not something that is simply "enabled" as it is your policy.
The policy can be a provide as a link anywhere, such as with the TOS

You "are you over 13 years?", etc.
other forums i've seen have a mandatory coppa checkbox and form if they select their age to be under 13. thats what im looking for to add to the registration screen.
This is the sort of thing that can be done with a plugin.
Note you only need this if your site is for kids, if you site is not for kids, then expressly state this.
