you are referring to your own theme, not here.
what version of vanilla, what version of bootstrap.
what editor are you using?
works for me with
buttonbar and bittersweet theme or bootstrap or baseline (default)
no buttonbar and bittersweet, or bootstrap or baseline (default)post a screenshot.
what plugins are you using? did you modify the themes.
I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.

Is this a serious question?
Don't you see 'Preview' next to 'Save Draft' below the cmment box?

Nope, unfortunately no button. I was using Bootstrap, but switched to Baseline them to check, and still no button.

Sorry for the brevity. I figured there would be a plugin and my question would be enough. Your questions helped because it turned out to be WYSIWYG (CLEditor) that switched off that button. The preview is back. Thanks!
Cleditor has the preview button hidden with css. The reason is that it already shows you a preview in real time. Adding the preview button to cleditor creates a redundant text box with the exact same content. So it is not necessary and that is why it is hidden.
