  • i'd like to point out that vanilla is not "ajax-based." that term would imply that the whole forum strongly relies on javascript and the cute little animations it can provide. this is not the case, it merely compliments the exterior and a choice selection of features.

    also, vanilla being so stripped down and bare of features is part of its beauty. the whole point is to provide a skeleton of a forum and let the users configure it to their preference.

  • nah i think we were both concerned that it really shouldnt be a bad point and also there needs to be alot of changes and revise the way it is done. I would like it if you had it so it said plugin availiable for some features and possibly do some research into what is availiable. That would be good.
  • i agree, the whole selling point of vanilla is its extensibility.
