I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
with a tiny bit of php you could modify it.
great for halloween - give everyone pumpkin lips or pirate eye patches,
or Valentines day - hearts for mouth and eyes.
or you could base it on point value - incremental facelifts as the points increase or based on years as a member.
or if two members get in a long drawn out argument on your forum you could give them shiners, to signify pugilism and failure to duck and weave.
