Can't post to Developers

I've just posted a thread in General Banter because the Developers forum says "If you want to talk with other developers ask us." but it doesn't say how and where to ask. So... here I am, asking here I guess. Can I get write access to the Developers forum please? And also would you be so kind to move my previous submission? Thanks!
