This morning, about 9am I got a text message to my celly, which knew to tell me that I have been accepted to Oulu University of Appliend Sciences to study programming, from what I understand it is Bachelor's degree so it is very good, especially when seeking employment opportunities and tasty treats around the world or under the couch. This is something I have been waiting for a long time, and it is yet another step in my ever lasting quest to work in the game industry.

    You could choose between sms and email, I tought that sms would be neato, and it was! Maybe thanks to this school, some day I will be just like Mark :o Bitey has a masters in tasty treats so he doesn't need any more schooling, but he will be as supportive as a housecat can be.

    Yeah i think I get a text when I get accepted into uni - I'll have to wait and see in August but i remember last year people were going to results day at school to get their results and they'd already been texted being accepted. Kinda took the edge off it!

    Cool beans though.

    I do Computer Science at Durham, and we get text's whenever lectures are cancelled or rescheduled. It's pretty awesome, especially as it annoys my friends on other courses when they go all the way to the lecture halls only to find their lectures are cancelled.

    I'm in Cuth's, and even got Vanilla set up on the JCR website :)

    I've seen the 3D displays and the huge 3D display in the eScience building, pretty impressive. I've shown students around on the open days to see the 3D displays, but never had the opportunity to create something for them yet.

    I came round on an open day at collingwood/comp sci a few months ago but decided i didnt really feel right there in the end. It's a nice place though. I suspect i'll probably end up at york if i dont find something else to do in the meantime.
