Can anyone recommend a decent image host please?

Preferably a fairly unknown one since photobucket and imageshack etc are blocked at work.

Thanks!

Hmm, mostly a bandwidth issue, but I also don't have any decent image editing software on this PC (other than PSP :\)

    (photos at 14mb~ atm!)

    http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/ or http://www.zshare.net/ ?

zshare works and looks good thanks, but unfortunately they don't allow hotliking!

Think I might have to just try and use PSP the best I can and host them on glosunit as mini suggested :)

(or wait til I get home and use imageshack)

Ahh thanks but that's blocked too, np though since I've only just found out that you're fine to access Imageshack during the lunch break :)
  • Theyre some pretty wierd firewalling rules.

Heh yup, any non work related sites are blocked during work hours which I guess makes sense. Unless you're using Firefox ;-)
  • I think your only option is to set up and browse via an anonymous proxy at work, blizeH.
  • blizeHblizeH ✭✭
Firefox is just fine atm, but thanks anyway lech :)
  • Ehh, I mean a proxy which allows you to browse sites outside of the corporate restricted proxy.
  • blizeHblizeH ✭✭
Hmm, pardon my ignorance, but do you mean to stop them tracing me or...?
  • Ha, most companies also block anonymous proxies... I even tried http tunneling tools... Damn.. why can't they let us have some fun at work :P
  • bilz, I mean basically having a way to connect to say: your computer at home to get to sites you want to at work in order to bypass most filtering solutions. While this could lead to your work eventually discovering said proxy and eventually blocking it, or all outbound traffic, it's one way of doing things. If you understand how a proxy works this should be a no-brainer to set up :)
