Is There An Addon For Flair?

On Reddit for example mods can assign text flair to each user. I have a private community that includes members from multiple other communities. It is hard to recognize who is who.

So I would to allow a mod to assign a text field to be displayed next to a username.

Are there any addons that can accomplish this? Or maybe a technique such as using an existing addon and modifying it?

probably what @Bleistivt suggested is quite suitable for text.

or probably assign different types of badges to individuals based on community.

and there are other options as well

aside from text you could have icons to make certain groups stand out.

you could also modify symboledit to put an icon to represent different groups, if you design your icons.

if you used location as the means for community type. you could probably do something easily with profile extender as well.
