New user post is invisible?

in Vanilla 2.0 - 2.8

One of my users has just posted on my forum (nbproject.vanillaforums.com) and I can see and even respond to their post in the "activity" tab. However, the post is not showing up in the the moderation queue, or in the recent activity list of posts, or in any of the category subheadings. where is it?

    Posting in the Activity does not post in the Discussions. And it is not moderated as far as I know.

    Please give a link to the specific discussion or comment in question.

    I thought vanillaforums.com is for hosted users. this forum is for open-source non hosted users.

    shouldn't you be posting at vanillaforums.com http://vanillaforums.com/help

    and posting under the correct version number of vanilla.

    Do you have vanilla 2.0 installed.

    Are you being hosted by Vanilla?

    I may not provide the completed solution you might desire, but I do try to provide honest suggestions to help you solve your issue.
